BIOGRAPHY

Motorcycling, the great passion of the Farioli family.

Filippo began his journey at the age of 5 with a 50cc motocross bike until the age of 8, taking part in his first race, finishing 3rd.
In 2014 the races are more frequent reaching his first victory; in 2015 an injury forced him to sit out for a long time, preventing him from participating in competitions.
In 2016 he took part in the Italian Mx65 Championship, finishing 3rd and winning the Red Bull Superchampions Mx65; again in 2016 Filippo began his first approaches to road motorbikes precisely riding a 50cc MiniGP in the Ottobiano (Pv) kart track
 

In 2017 he moved up to the Mx85 category with the following results:

 

  • 1st at the Lombardy Mx85 Regional Championship;

  • 2nd at the Red Bull Superchampions Mx85.

 

In the last period of 2017, Filippo resumed his journey with the MiniGP 50cc road bike, deciding to move on to speed competitions.

YEAR 2018

 

Filippo began his journey in the 50cc MiniGP European Championship, finishing 3rd, and took part in the Civ Junior Championship, obtaining numerous podiums and finishing 4th

 

YEAR 2019

 

Filippo moved up the category by participating in the Civ Pre Moto3 Championship, achieving 2 victories and finishing 3rd at the end of the season.

 

YEAR 2020

 

Filippo participates in the ETC European Talent Cup on Spanish soil but a serious injury, in Race2, on his debut on the Estoril circuit forces him to sit out and ends the season in 20th place.

 

YEAR 2021

 

Filippo makes a very important leap in category; he participates in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup competition as well as in the Moto3 Junior World Championship. The difficulties he had in 2020 resulting from the injury partially affected his performances, however, he still ranked in 28th and 15th place respectively.

 

YEAR 2022

 

​Filippo managed to get back into shape after the terrible injury he suffered in 2020; he leaves again with important reasons. Team Aspar takes him with them by participating in the Junior Moto3 World Championship, achieving 6 podiums and 1 victory, finishing 3rd at the end of the Championship.
In the same year he participated in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Championship, achieving 2 podiums and 1 pole position, finishing 9th at the end of the Championship.

YEAR 2023

 

Filippo makes every rider's dream come true: participating in the MotoGP World Championship in the Moto3 category.
By virtue of the sporting results of the year 2022 Filippo joins the official Red Bull KTM Tech3 Team as an official rider, competing in a rookie season, immediately demonstrating determination and a willingness to learn considering the depth of his opponents on the track as well as their experience .
He will finish 24th at the end of the MotoGP World Championship in the Moto3 category, obtaining his best result in the Malaysian Grand Prix placing 8th place.

 

YEAR 2024

 

Filippo faces the challenge of the MotoGP World Championship in the Moto3 category as the official rider of the Sic58 Squadra Corse team coordinated and directed by Paolo Simoncelli; it is a fascinating challenge full of expectations taking into account the history of the Team.
